The series blends biography, moral commentary, and historical narrative, reflecting Lord\u2019s background as a historian, lecturer, and clergyman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over several years, many volumes of his lectures have been published- with the first set being in 1883.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is quite interesting reading a history book\/compilation that was written over 140 years ago.  Many of the more recent assumptions and political versions of   these men, times, and stories did not exist back then.
